Because it can be difficult to know what a screenful of color will look like from seeing just a very small sample, as you move your mouse pointer from color to color on the color chart below, the browser window's background color will change for you and display the color codes in the box at the left as you change them. When you have found a color you like, click on it to lock it in and then you can scroll your browser window if necessary. The columns of color codes to the right will show you how text in various colors will appear on the background color you selected. If color codes appear to be missing on unreadable it's because of their similarity to the selected background color, and so they would not be good choices for text colors with that background color. If you change your mind, just click on any color square and you will be able to resume scanning colors again with your mouse. When you have decided on a color combination, make a note of the codes for the background and the text and then use one of the links at left to send them by email. Codes are always a 6 digit alphanumeric designation. |
